About

Welcome to St Ambrose and St Leonard’s Bristol.

We welcome visitors to come and enjoy our services every Sunday and Wednesday mornings.

Our style of worship is ‘relaxed traditional’. Services last around an hour.

Our Eucharist service includes Scripture readings, prayers, a short message, and the celebration of Holy Communion. While the structure follows the traditional pattern of the liturgy the tone is friendly and easy going — perfect for those who appreciate the beauty of classic worship without the formality.

You’ll hear familiar hymns, join in well-loved responses, and share in the sacred meal of bread and wine at the heart of our faith. Whether you’re new to church or have worshipped for years, you’ll find a warm community, meaningful rhythms of prayer, and space for quiet reflection. Come as you are.

All are welcome at the table.

There is always the opportunity to chat over coffee after the service and get to know one another better.

For accessibility needs there is wheelchair access via the main entrance of the church and accessible toilets available in the Beehive Centre opposite.

Do please get in touch with us with any further needs you may have.
